Depuis quelques mois, j'utilise Vista :). Fan des flux RSS et OPML, j'utilise Omea Reader pour aggréger cette masse d'informations. Celui-ci  marchait très bien sous Windows XP mais lors du passage sous Vista, j'ai eu quelques petites soucis. Voici comment les résoudres :

Since few Months, I'm using Vista ! Fan of RSS and OMPL feeds, I'm using Omea Reader to aggregate and classify all those informations. Omea works well on Windows XP but with Vista, you'll probably have some issues. Below, some tips to resolve that :

Tout d'abord, lors du lancement du programme, une erreur était générée, afin de la faire disparaitre, rendez vous à l'endroit où vous avez installé Omea Reader, pour ma part c'est : "C:\Program Files\JetBrains\Omea Reader", sélectionner OmeaReader.exe, cliques droit, onglet Comptabilité puis sélectionner la case à cocher "Run this program in comptability mode for" puis dans la liste déroulante sélectionner "Windows XP (Service Pack 2) ". Répéter cette opération avec "OmeaReaderLauncher.exe". Cette première étape va supprimer les erreurs au lancement d'Omea.

First of all, when you launch the program, an error appears. To avoid this one, go where you've installed Omea Reader, for me it's : "C:\Program Files\JetBrains\Omea Reader". Then select OmeaReader.exe, right click, Compatibility tab/select the checkBox "Run this program in compatibility mode" and pick up in the drop down list : Windowd XP (Service Pack 2). Repeat this operation with ""OmeaReaderLauncher.exe". This first step will fix those errors.

Ensuite, IE7 peut aussi générer une erreur suite à l'installation de Omea Reader. Pour résoudre ce problème, lancer Internet Explorer avec les priviléges Administrateurs (cf le screenshot de droite). Une fois celui-ci lancé, allez dans Outils/Option Internet/Onglet Programmes /Manage Add-Ons :

Then, IE7 may have some issues after installing Omea Reader. To fix that, launch Internet Explorer 7 with Administrator's privileges (cf the screenshot on the right). Then go in Tools/Internet Options/Program tabs and click Manage Add-Ons.

Puis il va falloir désactiver 3 Add-Ons :

• Omea
• COMeaHelper Object
• Omea Add-On Options

Then, you'll have to desactivate 3 Add-ons :

• Omea
• COMeaHelper Object
• Omea Add-On Options

Et maintenant plus de problèmes :)
